Mata Traders: Autumn Jewelry 2020

Borrowing colors from the blue room in the pink city of Jaipur, and shapes from the intricately adorned walls of the Samode Haveli, this collection pays tribute to the tremendous beauty the design team at Mata Traders is able to experience on their trips to visit their artisan counterparts across the world. Each of the pieces seen here are ones that I conceptualized, designed and produced individually as a part of the larger collection seen on Mata Traders’s website.

This, and every collection made by Mata Traders, was produced by fair trade artisan groups located in and around Delhi. Each group is run by local leaders, advocates and social workers aiming to create jobs, pass on traditional techniques of making, and provide social services for the larger community.

The Agra Earrings, Gracie Beaded Earrings and Gracie Beaded Necklace are currently the first , second and third bestselling pieces of the collection.
